Deer mating season that is! And each year as we enter this time of year we see an increase in deer activity. Because of our ever expanding population and continued encroachment on wild lands we see that activity in the form of car accidents with deer involved.
This isn't just a problem high up in the mountains. Deer have made their homes in the urban canyons and hills surrounding downtown Los Angeles and accidents do happen and its not always just the deer who get injured.
Be careful when driving through the canyons and along some of our freeways, particularly in the dawn or dusk hours.
